| Why I Paraglide? |
Flying has been considered "Man's oldest dream" and powered paragliding has got to be the closest thing to that dream. It is like "dreaming with your eyes open". Leonardo DaVinci said, "Once man has achieved flight, he will forever look up to the sky, for once he was and always will he long to return". | Just imagine, driving to a field. Once there, you unload your back pack motor, open your wing, clip in and add power. Before you know it, you're hundreds, even thousands of feet above the earth. That's what powered paragliding is all about. While flying in my paraglider and looking down on the earth below, I get an incredible sense of freedom. Seeing things from a different perspective, I realize that what I am doing is truly amazing and nothing short of pure joy. |
